JOHN F. DONOHUE |
JOHN F. DONOHUE. Mr. Donohue was born in Buffalo , New York , attended Canisius High School , Canisius College and Fordham University Law School where he received his LLB and JD degrees.
Mr. Donohue is a veteran of the Korean conflict as a member of the United States Army.
He spent six years as insurance counsel for the Merchants Mutual Insurance Company.
In 1971 he entered private law practice with the firm of Schnell and Salmon and in 1973 became a sole practitioner.
Mr. Donohue was admitted to the Florida Bar and currently is a member of both New York and Florida Bars. He is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
He was joined in practice by his son Barry in 1990 and his son David in 1994. The practice concentrates on personal injury, including wrongful death, products liability, auto accident related injuries and medical malpractice and includes other areas of the law such as matrimonial real property. He has attended and received certificates of completion of three Brain Injury Institute seminars in the handling of brain injury cases.
Mr. Donohue is married to the former Teresa Whalen and they have seven children and reside in Clarence , New York .

BARRY J. DONOHUE |
BARRY J. DONOHUE. In 1986 Mr. Donohue received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Immediately thereafter he attended the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from its law school in 1989. While in law school Mr. Donohue served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law School newspaper and represented the School in interscholastic moot court competition. In January, 1990 Mr. Donohue was admitted to practice law before all of the Courts of the State of New York. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and has handled matters as lead counsel in each of those courts.
Mr. Donohue is past President of the Bar Association of the Tonawandas and is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
In each of the years since 1990 Mr. Donohue has conducted jury trials to verdict in State and Federal court and on civil and criminal matters. He concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation and employment law litigation. In personal injury litigation Mr. Donohue has represented individuals who have suffered paraplegia, force trauma and anoxic brain injuries, severe facial fractures, leg and arm fractures, puncture wounds with necrotizing fascitis, disc injuries in the neck and back, and deep lacerations, as a result of the carelessness of others. In employment law litigation Mr. Donohue represents primarily persons whose employment has been terminated because of their race, color, creed, gender, national origin, age or disability or whose employment has been terminated in retaliation for their exercise of free speech or some other legal activity. Mr. Donohue has also represented employers sued by their employees and has served as arbitrator in employment disputes.

DAVID C. DONOHUE |
DAVID C. DONOHUE. David C. Donohue is a native of the Buffalo , New York area and a graduate of Clarence High School . In 1988, he graduated from Canisius College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science. In January, 1994, he received his Juris Doctorate degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago , Illinois .
Soon after his graduation from law school, Mr. Donohue began practicing law with his father, John, and brother, Barry. Mr. Donohue's practice concentrates on the prosecution of personal injury claims, including wrongful death, auto crashes, slip and fall injuries, dog bite injuries, premises liability claims and sexual assault claims arising out of negligent supervision and/or inadequate security. Mr. Donohue also provides services in other areas of law such as real estate transactions, criminal defense, DWI, family court matters, divorce, contractual disputes and the legal needs of small business owners.
Mr. Donohue was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in July, 1994 and in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York in September, 1994. He is a member of the NYS Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association and the Bar Association of the Tonawandas. Mr. Donohue served on the Aid to Indigent Prisoners' Society from 1995 to 2001 where he provided legal services in criminal and family court matters to individuals who were financially unable to pay for their own attorney. He is also a member of the Friends of Camp Turner, a charitable foundation established to send underprivileged children to an overnight camp known as Camp Turner operated by the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.
